Fred Trump was conceived in Germany, after his father, Friedrich Trump or Drumpf, returned to his native land to marry and settle down, having earned a small fortune running a brothel during the Klondike Gold Rush in Canada. So much for his being an American citizen at the time. Is there any evidence that he ever obtained an American citizenship?
