Runnymede Colonists - ca. 1880s

The Runnymede colonists documented their time in Kansas with a weekly column in the Harper paper and photographs, such as this one. Although the pictures were taken in the late 1880s, well past the days of the frontier west, the settlers sported guns and knives in many photos.
